All bikes are delivered with 50% charge but it is advisable to fully charge the bike before first use, We also advise charging the battery after every use and to prevent full discharge.

A maintenance tool kit has also been included with the bikes which includes the necessary tools required to check key bolt tightness including the wheel bolts and brake bolts, It is advised that routine checks are carried regularly

Charging: Up to 4 hours

Plug the charger into the bikes charging port located on the right hand side of the bike, Please only use a charger which is plugged directly into the mains and prevent from using an extension lead as this can damage the charger/ slow down the charging process. The charger will indicate a red light when the bike is charging and will turn solid green on the charging indicator when the bike is fully charged (this can take up to 4 hours) please make sure the bike is turned off when charging. Charging must be carried out in a well ventilated area.

Simply turn the bluetooth on via your phone and connect to 'bluetooth', You can play anything through the music player via your phone (the bike must be turned on to be able to connect to your phones Bluetooth)

Speed settings, Horn, Lights functions:

All these can be controlled via switches on the handlebars when the bike is turned on, The brake light functions when the brake lever is pressed. All other lights (headlight and chases multi coloured lights are controlled via the switch)

Drive train, Twist and Go!

Littletrax E-bike Trouble Shooting Guide:

If your Littletrax doesn’t work straight away please don’t panic, most of the time the issue is just something small and easily sorted.

First take everything out of the box to make sure you have all the parts needed before starting assembly (make sure to keep the box in case there is an issue, if we have to pick the bike up it will have to be boxed as the courier will not collect without the item being boxed and we will have to charge for failed collections)

  1. When you have assembled the bike, before you turn it on for the first time give it a check over to ensure all the wires are connected securely. Under the seat or casing area are common places for loose wiring

  2. Wiring and connections check.

  3. Due to safety reasons the bike may not work with the charger connected so make sure you’ve disconnected it. When the bike is on charge, the charger should get warm after a couple of hours, this is perfectly normal and indicates that it is working properly. The charging indicator will illuminate red when charging and green when fully charged. There will also be an audible noice from the charger which is normal and is just a cooling fan which has been incorporated to protect the charger.

  4. Check that you have turned the bike on using provided keys.

  5. If the bike is working backwards, for example going in reverse when it should be going forward – the motor wires simply need to be swapped over.

  6. If the bike moves slowly or sluggishly – the toy could be overloaded, these bikes have a maximum weight limit (80kg) they can carry and may stop operating if this is passed, also long thick grass, too steep an incline, sand etc. or any combination of these conditions can overload the vehicle, they are designed to be used on a solid flat surface such as pavement or tarmac, short grass and dry mud tracks

  7. Please note: These bikes have a rear hub motor and will only operate from the rear wheel

  8. Please remember that over time the charge in the bike battery will diminish, to prevent this the bike should be charged regularly. If you do not plan to use the bike for a long period of time we recommend that the batteries are charged monthly to ensure that they will continue to hold charge and the bike will continue to function properly. We also recommend not running the battery completely empty.

IF YOU HAVE CHECKED THE ABOVE AND THE BIKE WILL STILL NOT OPERATE PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING CHECKS THEN CONTACT US, THESE ARE QUESTIONS CUSTOMER SERVICE MAY ASK SO THIS WILL HELP SPEED UP THE PROCESS AND ALLOW US TO GET EVERYTHING SORTED QUICKLY

  • Has the bike worked at all since it has arrived?

    -       These bikes usually come with charge, so they should operate straight out of the box, but not always so the bike may need to be charged.

  • When you charged the bike did you put it on charge for the recommended amount of time?

    -       When you charge the bike, especially for the first time, make sure it is for the time stated - 4hours

  • When the bIke was on charge did the charger get warm?

    -       This is a normal sign that the charger is working, if it doesn’t get warm it could be a sign that there is a fault with the charger and you need a new one.

  • Does any part of the bike work, lights music etc.?

    -       If some parts of the bike are getting power it could mean that there is an issue with the wiring and you should check to make sure there isn’t a loose connection anywhere.

  • If the lights are getting power and all the wiring seems correct but the bike isn’t moving is there any sound coming from the motors for example a clicking sound?

    -       A clicking sound coming from the motors but the bike failing to move could mean that the motors are not sitting correctly inside the wheels, please check the motors are fitted correctly and the wires from the motors are connected securely, the bike could also be overloaded. If you have checked all connections and wires are ok there may be a fault with the motors.

  • Bike turns on but the bike won’t move?
    - if your bike turns on but there is no movement when the throttle is engaged please try the following:

- Check that the brake is not applied (the motor will not engage if the brake is applied, also check the connections on the brake position sensor to ensure these are secure)

- remove the casing (2 Allen key bolts, one at the front of the casing and one at the rear of the casing, you just need to loosen these bolts, they do not need to be completely removed to remove the casing. When these bolts are loose the casing will split in half (tools provided)

-remove half the casing in order to visually inspect the wiring/ block connections.

-follow the wiring lead from the motor to the block connections within the once enclosed casing,

-disconnect and reconnect to reset the motor and retry the throttle (with the rear wheel raised of the ground)

IF YOU ARE STILL HAVING ISSUES AFTER THE ABOVE STEPS PLEASE CONTACT CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR FURTHER ASSISTANCE.
